ABOUT DUO

Created by Yannick and Patrick Bellaiche, a French couple passionate about jewellery , Duo is the unique fusion of Australian essence and European flair.

Entrepreneurs full of ideas, the couple's partnership began in 1994, first selling jewellery at Paddington and Bondi markets. Their desire to bring something different to the Australian fashion scene led to the first Duo shop opening in April 1995 in Double Bay.

Duo now has four shops across Sydney: Mosman, Paddington, Strand Arcade and Double Bay. Since its establishment, Duo has focused on quality, design originality and a high level of customer service.



Believing it is essential to offer something different - yet timeless - to its competitors, Duo's sophisticated range varies from casual chic to elegant to please its customers for every occasion. Dealing mainly with Australian designers Duo meticulously selects its pieces. They are classical yet sophisticated. In other words, whether you are looking for a gift for a loved one, fantastic accessories for a wedding occasion or to just treat yourself, Duo is sure to contain something that meets your fancy, for both men and women. 

Showcasing brands such as Najo, Sybella, Von Treskow and its own collection –Duo Collection–, Duo also supplies stylish Skagen watches from Denmark. .



Understanding the demands of its customers, Duo separates itself by producing its signature packaging and also provides gift wrapping and gift vouchers. Most of the Duo's range can be purchased online and is available for overseas customers as well as those in Australia. Duo's website showcases its extending collections in jewellery.

Though Duo believes the best advertisement is the word to mouth, the brand had appeared in Vogue magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Wedding Magazine, Elle with Chloe Maxwell as the face of the Duo campaign in 1997/1998. Also understanding the impact of social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, Duo has pages on both websites.
